Child safety is our top priority. This is why we designed the XRIDER i-Size car seat – a swivel car seat that meets standard i-Size R129 and passed rigorous crash tests. XRIDER i-Size is suitable for children 40–125 cm tall (up to seven years or 25 kg) and allows you to transport your little one in the rearward-facing position up to approximately four years old (RWF up to 105 cm). RWF is the safest position for small children, and is five times safer than FWF in the event of a head-on collision. For even better safety, in addition to ISOFIX, the car seat also has a third support point: a support leg.

XRIDER i-Size features a range of safety systems and solutions to provide comprehensive protection for your child at the highest level. It's equipped with H-GUARD+, SPS+, as well as the RECLINING function and EASY SPIN 360°. In addition, the car seat shell is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene), which means that the structure of the seat absorbs overloads, dispersing the force of impact to maximise protection for the child's head, neck and shoulders. The high side protection, the 11-stage headrest adjustment and the use of memory foam mean XRIDER i-Size will surround your child with comprehensive protection on every trip.

Safety at the highest level

XRIDER i-Size is a car seat designed to provide comprehensive protection for your child. It meets the latest R129 i-Size standard, which requires even more-rigorous crash tests, including side-on collision tests. It successfully passed these tests, meaning it will provide your little one with maximum safety when travelling. XRIDER i-Size also enables you to transport your little one in the rearward facing (RWF) position up to approximately four years old (up to 105 cm), which is five times safer in the event of a head-on collision.

From birth up to seven years

The XRIDER i-Size car seat will protect your youngster from birth to approximately seven years (25 kg/125 cm in height). For the safety of children of different sizes, the car seat allows easy adjustment of the headrest and safety harness, and the soft ERGO PAD+ car seat insert with memory foam in the headrest and under the back is included for smaller children (up to 75 cm tall). It allows your little one to be in the correct position, while being an additional layer to disperse the force of impact in the event of a collision before it reaches your child.

EASY SPIN 360° system

The EASY SPIN 360° system allows you to swivel the car seat to face the door using one hand. Thanks to the easily accessible buttons on either side, this is very intuitive and convenient. It’ll be easier to put your little one in and secure them using the internal five-point safety harness. The system also allows you to quickly convert them from the RWF to the FWF position without taking the car seat out of the car.

Safety systems

XRIDER i-Size features two special safety systems for better and more-thorough protection for your youngster when travelling. The car seat is equipped with the H-GUARD+ system, which is a reinforced three-layer EPP (expanded polypropylene) headrest with additional memory foam – the combination of these two materials ensures the highest level of safety. The memory foam does not deform even over many years of use; it maintains its flexibility and elasticity for years, allowing it to provide your child with safety throughout the entire period of use of the car seat. H-GUARD+ absorbs the force of impact generated during side-on collisions. It provides excellent protection for the child's head and shoulders. XRIDER i-Size also features the SPS+ system. This integrated side protection system (bumpers) is connected to the car seat shell: it acts like a crumple zone in a car, taking in the first impact during a collision and absorbing the energy while preventing it from reaching the child's body.

Expanded polypropylene: EPP

EPP foams are mainly known for their excellent energy-absorbing properties and resistance to mechanical damage. For many years, they’ve been used in the automotive sector to manufacture internal car components (e.g. filling for seats, door panels and roof lining) as a shock-absorbing material that meets the strictest safety requirements. Their use decreases the risk of injury in the event of an accident. This is why this material is used in the XRIDER i-Size car seat’s shell to provide comprehensive protection for little passengers. EPP foam makes the car seat shell very durable and sturdy. It is the shell's job to reduce the force of impact, protecting the child from injury, and that’s why its durability is so important. EPP also doesn’t deform in various weather conditions that the car seat is exposed to, while at the same time being resistant to humidity. All of this means that XRIDER i-Size will provide safety for your youngster for many years. In addition, the fact that EPP can be recycled is part of the pursuit of a more-sustainable and eco-friendly approach to the production and use of materials.

Installation using ISOFIX

The XRIDER i-Size car seat can be easily installed in the car thanks to ISOFIX and a support leg. It takes just one moment to install the car seat in the car and check to make sure that the correct installation indicators are green. The support leg provides a third support point, stabilising the entire car seat during travelling and in the event of a collision. Remember that you have the instruction manual always on hand. You just need to scan the QR code on the car seat’s shell. The electronic instruction manual was created to protect the environment and increase convenience.

Tailored to your child

XRIDER i-Size also features the RECLINING function: Five-step adjustment of the angle of incline of the car seat (four in the FWF position, and one in the RWF position). It’s also equipped with the EASY GROW SYSTEM, which allows you to adjust the headrest (11 levels) and internal safety harness at the same time. Thanks to this, the car seat can be tailored to your child to provide better protection for them.

Travel comfort for many years

This is a car seat that ensures not only safety, but also comfort. XRIDER i-Size features the ERGO PAD+ insert for small children, which has an extended period of use – up to 75 cm. The insert is filled with memory foam in the headrest, which prevents the headrest from deforming while providing comfort and safety for the child, decreasing the distance between the little one's body and car seat’s shell. It also enables your youngster to be in the correct, anatomical body position when in the car seat.

For greater comfort for the child, the five-point safety harness is equipped with soft pads with a non-slip coating. And when it's time to secure your little one with the car seat belt, you can put the internal safety harness in the special compartment. Parents also don’t have to worry about the life span of the car seat – the cover is easy to remove and wash, meaning the car seat can remain looking fresh for many years.
